She is an untrained moron of a service rep. Even if it's true (which it's not) she shouldn't be pushing that opinion on SSH. I'm sure there is a way they are trained to handle these inquiries and it's. it by spouting her opinion.

Single ticket price is nowhere near double what the SSH pays. If she's talking about the resale market, then she needs to factor in the seats that get sold below face value, which is plenty. Just because some tickets get purchased on resale at big markups, does not make the value of all tickets that price point. She needs to be re-trained because if she fed me that line when I called I'd be having a conversation with her manager then escalating the issue further. But then again, I have no patience for poor customer service.

Oh trust me i didn't believe it I thought it was laughable and flat out told her I thought that was a terrible excuse. I just didn't care enough to get into a further conversation about it with her or anyone else. Don't exactly have time to waste on something that isn't going to benefit me in any way.
