From what little I just saw in the Spurs game vs the Rockets I think he'll be ok. He's got an NBA body and looks comfortable out there. Plus the Spurs drafted him. His FT% is pretty scary though.
Also I'm curios to see how Sam Dekker looks with Houston's new offense. McDaniels too.
