Jurassic Park CANCELLED tonight (Game 3)

It's not really playoff fatigue as much as it's "this team can barely string together more than 1 good game at a time in the playoffs."

The Jays (last two years) and 4 games of the Leafs have been infinitely more exciting and frisky.

I loved how they played with the camera angles in game 2 to make it seem like the crowd was still massive

It seems to be going downhill anyways. People just aren't as hyped as they were in years past.

People expect Raps to get past the first round now so the hype won't be there until 2nd round imo, that and Leafs are in the playoffs.

Let's not make this bigger than it is.. I personally don't think jurrassic park is dying out by any means but it's tough when we're in the playoffs at the same time as a hockey team that's been around forever and that hasnt made the playoffs in 4 years.. the leafs' hype is like ours four years ago.. it's fresh and new .. we've also had bad weather the night of our games while the leaf games it's been beautiful out .. but gotta love the puckhead media writing stories trying to make us look bad because they've been irrelevant in the playoffs for years while the Jays and raps have been the hot story .. I guess we just have to let them have their moment

I think any decline had a lot more to do with the knowledge that the Leafs fans were also going to be there for game 1 and the reported clash of cultures afterward. There's only been 2 games so it would make sense that the bizzare shared situation that occurred along with the tough loss deflated many who wanted to go. Not sure it's representative of anything more than that though.

tbh, the Jurassic Park this year has been weak af anyways.
It's way more poppin during Leafs games.

Leafs haven't made playoffs in awhile so there is more hype for them...same thing happened to Raptors when they played the Nets in 2014. Playoff hype dies down once the fans get used to making the playoffs each year (or by getting disappointed every year).

They should just fill the square with those big inflatable thingys where the arms wave around. Paint them brown and put raptors jersey on them. Camera shot to that before going to commercials would be awesome.

Considering the weather tonight it was smart of MLSE to close Jurassic Park for tonight.

The casual fans that I know were going to the square in the past are definitely not as interested this year. It's strange.

No. That has more to do with Toronto's wealthy ticket buyers often having tickets to both the Raptors and Leafs and paying big sums of money to watch the Raptors playoffs in the past when the Leafs were out.

However, a lengthy Leafs playoff run will cost more and more corporate clients will want to go to Leafs playoff games so people are making the choice to put their money into the Leafs exclusively.
