You obviously can’t go into a shootout with GSW&CLEV. Only a team with Elite D, with massive length, could contain&stop Clev and GSW. Those players have to be able to score at a high clip too.
This kind of frontcourt ‘Batum/Ibaka/Bismack’ would do something against those teams.

It's funny when a team decides to play as a team with great ball movement instead of street ball where your "best player" isn't unloading his clip. If Boston played like this with Thomas in the lineup then the first 2 games would have been alot closer. And the Raps wouldn't have lost 4 straight. It also helps to not be terrified as soon as you step on the court, looks like the Celtics found their balls at halftime.

That's what I don't understand about teams like the Celtics and Raps who are pretty talented but play a series where they are big underdogs. It should be a blessing in disguise. You have nothing to lose, play loose and play them physical and you're not gonna be embarrassed. Why you would be tense about it is beyond me.

Overconfidence and the Cavs trying to act like bullies. When you stand up to a bully, good things usually happen. Even if the Celts lose, this game should be considered the highlight of thier season. If you play as a team and push back against the bully, things All of a sudden become easier.

Celtics have quite a dilemma. Isiah/Smart/Brown + #1 pick are all technically on-ball guards. If they are smart, they will move 2 out of the 4 assets to fill a weakness else where.

Smart in the lineup has changed the entire complexion of the C's lineup. They're playing defense now for a change because that's the lead guard's mentality. Same thing happened when Kyle went down.
