I think it's 10-10.

Hailiburton has not been the same since he got hurt. Only playing 28-29mpg, averages down to 15/9 instead of 24/13 before the trade.

Look no further than last night. 0 points on 0/7 shooting with 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 22 minutes. And that's coming just a few days after he went 2/11 against us.

But they also upgraded from Brown to a borderline All Star. That should have helped offset Hali playing worse.

Haliburton is averaging 9 less points on worse efficiency and 4 less assists. That right there is Haliburton providing 17ish less points of production. Siakam was not making them 17 points better.

Not to mention they also sold Heild for nothing for some reason

Haliburton was putting up 24/4/13 on 50/40/87 shooting splits (63 TS%) before his injury while he is putting up 15/3/9 on 45/34/77 shooting splits (56 TS%) in his last 15 games. You're talking about 15-20 points of production less from Haliburton on less efficiency which is a massive drop-off on its own. Then when you consider that Indiana also downgraded Hield to McDermott while missing 1-2 additional rotation pieces for a pretty big chunk of their last 20 games, it's not that surprising at all that they're just 10-10.

Expecting Siakam – who has been great with Indiana, averaging 21/7/5 on 61 TS% – to make up for Haliburton's step drop-off in play as well as having no Hield plus Nesmith, Mathurin, Jackson, Smith, etc. for a good chunk of those games is just unrealistic.

I think it's 10-10.

He's still playing for us.

Out of curiosity, could we sign him in the summer, or is there some rule preventing that?

We can but no bird rights. So more limited than what the pacers can offer. Assumption is that they’re ok with signing him to the max.

Jeff Dowtin signed by the Sixers

https://hoopshype.com/2024/03/02/jeff-dowtin-jr-to-76ers/

Shams says two way, another tweet by Keith Pompey says 10 day. Two way is better right?. I hope it pans out for Jeff. He missed a lot of Blue Coats games early season but now he's been playing well in the G. Nick knows him which must help. I don't know Philly's status aside from Embiid but I see they only played 9 guys their last game.

Nice to see Dowtin get a contract, he deserved the opportunity.

I always visualize in that game for us (when Fred was out) against the Pistons where Delano was knocking down 3 after 3, and wonder why he wasn't given more of a chance here.

Then I remember it was against the Pistons. And last night was against the Grizz. Rooting for him, tho'. He'd be an asset on the undersized National Team.

he has so many excellent skills that when he's hitting shots he becomes a really good player. but when he's shooting blanks he becomes a poor man's ben simmons, which is not a player anyone wants.

In his second game, Dowtin has 10 pts 4 ast 2 reb in 20 minutes for the Sixers. Not quite end of 3rd. Happy for him.

What does a post about Banton have to do with OG?

This has pretty much always been Precious though, no? When he's not lazily shooting 3's, he's forcing stuff at the rim. Before he was just missing those easy shots at the rim.
