He was far from a tier below OG. I would argue both were similar.

Ibaka ended up being a 15/8 27mpg guy on a championship team who brought great defense and immense leadership. Easily on OG's level.
I would take prime Ibaka over OG. He played in many more big moments than OG has

Ibaka's offence more than makes up for OG's slightly superior defence.

In the playoffs, all the refs gotta do is call a ticky tack foul or 2 to take OG out of the game and its over for the knicks, we all know the NBA controls game outcomes.

The 2 quick fouls thing can apply to a lot of players. I don't know what the league's agenda will be. I assume they'd want the biggest market to advance. I have to say since I've been watching the Knicks a lot since the trade, they don't get a very good whistle, even a star like Brunson. Most on their board agree, I think. I always feel the Raps get a bad whistle because, Canada. But I'm surprised about the Knicks. Or maybe it's just me :D .

Fred Top 20 in EPM

Great bounce back season. Certainly played up to the contract

13th in EPM estimated wins. 20th in LEBRON WAR. 20th in RAPTOR WAR. Somehow, amazingly, Fred is a no-doubt-about-it max player.

Demar in his what, 15th season, led the NBA in minutes. Impressive.

This video collage shows something I've posted about OG several times - he's a low key enforcer. Usually steps in and tangles with bigger guys. Nice to see someone made a video of it.

Demar off to a hot start tonight made me think, which ex Raptors are in the postseason. DD, Kyle, Pascal, OG, Precious. Delon I guess. Kawhi of course. Who am I missing?

Just pre covid I remember he got into it with Gobert , even at that time I thought he was already an "enforcer". He is a tough guy, fearless for sure, won't take crap from anyone and certainly stands up for his buddies . OG nickname is fitting Ogugua in many ways

Today showed that Hali still has a bit of a ways to go before he's on Pascals level. Indiana would have lost by 40 if it weren't for Pascal. Hopefully he can have a a positive influence on the young guys and Indiana can turn it around.

Also shows that the old adages about playoff experience are absolutely true. Pascal seemed to be comfortable with the intensity of the game, everyone else had jitters. Sometimes young teams need to go through the wringer or two before they can make a deep run.

OG isn't able to connect on 3s above the break. That's going to be a problem for the Knicks in the later rounds. If Embiid was healthy I wouldn't see them getting past the Sixers. Nurse should be forcing the ball into his hands and making him take it to the bucket, he's a walking turnover.

Pascal having an off night, only 8 points. The first two games of the series he was scoring over 30.

Precious was used wrong in Toronto. Defensively he was fine. I just hated watching him try to score.
