We can get the Raps more national coverage

I noticed on nba.com they now have a new feature where every tuesday night fans get to vote on which game they want on NBATV to be shown nationally with pregame coverage of the two teams. I think with our fanbase here on realgm we can get the raps on nbatv everytime they play on tuesday nights.

Nov 18th vs Magic
Dec 2nd vs Nuggets
Dec 9th vs Cavs
Feb 3rd vs Cavs
Feb 10th vs Wolves
Feb 24th vs Wolves
March 3rd vs Rockets
April 7th vs Hawks

Pretty cool new thing they got there, a chance for us to show our might

i doubt the raptors would even be a choice at least vs the wolves.

Even though we can't watch the games I know I'll be voting. It's going to be interesting to see if RealGM actually has the power to get the Raptors on NBATV.

That's not true, if another network has already bought the rights to the game in Canada then RaptorsTV will not be able to cover it.

Im not sure if that is true when it comes to nbatv-rapstv, in the past im pretty sure when ever nbatv showed a game it was on rapstv to. I always thought rapstv is nbatv just with added raptors content.

Potential situation: NBA picks up game at behest of Canadian fans, who are therein deprived of the ability to watch game due to network conflict.

Why should we care? We'll see the game anyway...I thought the whole point of our fanbase being pissed about not having games on National US TV was about us not getting respect.

We would only get the local feed with Devlin and the gang. We wouldn't get the NBATV broadcast.

NBA game rights are expensive, if the game is on TSN that night for example then RaptorsTV will not be able to broadcast the game.

Having the rights mean they are the only network in Canada that will be able to broadcast the game.
