I'm glad to hear it. I'd be out there looking right up until deadline day for a better deal for the future. No patch jobs. No lateral moves. Put a plan in place to be better next year and start with very carefully working the trade market.

What they need to do is stand pat, and consider all avenues to improve the team (and most importantly, looking for a good deal for Bosh).

I highly doubt any Bosh moves are happening this year. Colangelo is not moving him period.

Where is this coming from?

"nothing until closer to deadline" = counter to Riley's claim the trade is on ice.

seems like Riley's asking for more and BC doesn't want to throw in another player or draft pick. so he's giving him the "we're in no rush" line.

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

I do not want to believe this season is over. We need whatever JO deal to go down ASAP and let's try to get into the playoffs. Remember, IF we get into the playoffs, it will be because we played the second half of the season at like a .600 clip or better. Which means we'd be a hot team going in.

C'mon people the seaons done, retool with picks and trade JO next year, check out the D-League, find takers for Moon Kapono. Now if Bosh leaves, so be it., deal with it then
