Problem with Big 3 Frontcourt: Perimeter Defense
The problem with Bargnani (3), Bosh (4) and JO (5) is the lack of defense at our 1 and 2 positions when that setup is on the court. The pistons used the correct tactic to counter the huge frontcourt which was to get out and run to take advantage of the slower frontcourt getting back on D. Quick backcourt that can play D and keep the run and gun covered against the big froncourt will help the lineup a hell of a lot. We all know we have probably the worst backcourt lineup in the league. That right there was a huge example of what we're lacking.

And our lack of defense at the 3 and 4 in that scenario is also a major problem.

The REAL problem with the big 3 frontcourt is that it is a stupid idea, that can not be used to any degree of success for long periods of time. It is only a lineup u can put out there if u think Bargs/Bosh can guard the 3 on the other team, for example Marion. They shouldn't play together.
