WNBA dunk contest....oh wait.

Wouldn't that just be Lisa Leslie vs Candace Parker?

Lisa Leslie with a ... 1-handed slam!

Candace Parker with a ... 1-handed slam!

It would.

I tried to watch WNBA a couple times and it felt like watching Rick Millers All-White Blues Band playing all-white blues at Jo Jo's Sports Bar in Muskoka. It sucked so hard and the people involved were the only ones unaware of the fact.

shaq and yao vs Nate Robinson and Brevin Knight playing on a 100 cm basket, would be very amusing to watch

They should do a pro-am type thing where they have the NBA guys as starters, and college guys as the bench. That would be more entertaining than the current all-star game, plus you'd get to see some of the guys who will eventually make it to the league.

Skills comp I would just throw away and replace with a Now vs Then shooting competition. Invite guys like Miller, MJ, etc., back just to shoot the ball (no dunking, game playing etc) paired up with a present-day star, and do a couple of games of 21 or something.

Fastest Players Race there and back to see who's the quickest player in the nba (cough cough Lebron).
Want: Trae Young, Michael Porter Jr., DeAndre Ayton, Jaren Jackson Jr, Marvin Bagley III, Mohamad Bamba, Shai Gilgeous- Alexander, Elie Okobo, Jevon Carter

the idea of pickup games is a good idea, but there will be problems. The superstars won't participate. And even if someone crazy enough to participate, they won't play hard cause of injury.

I was thinking about that too.
I'd rather see that than the skills competition any day.

Bosh/Caldy ftw! ;)

1) force players in the ASG to play hard
2) no WNBA presence whatsoever
3) no crappy players/rookies only in dunk competition
4) replace skills with 3 on 3 (injury risk? pfft. injuries happen)
