OT - Just a random question
I was just thinking of a question while watching the game vs the Bucks...
Has there ever been a player who over their career, shot a better percentage from the 3 point line than their percentage from the free throw line?
Seems unlikely, but it would be interesting if there was. I haven't been able to find anyone yet...

Hmm, well the place to start would be to find someone, likely a big man, who went 1 for 1 from downtown in his career.

That just reminded me of someone.
Eddy Curry.
2 for 2 from 3point line for career.

Re: OT - Just a random question
but shouldnt be there an eligibility thing? that they would have had to take at least x amount of three pointers? like the end of the year percentages, u dont count the people who hit 1 for 1 or anything, only the guys that took at least 100 three pointers or sumtin.

That's only for league leaders.
Eddy Curry went 2-2 from downtown. Are you going to deny that he has shot 100% from the 3 in his NBA career? It's not about league leading... it's simply about career numbers.

Re: OT - Just a random question
For his career, no - but Bruce Bowen has done it once
In 02-03 he shot .441 from 3 and .404 from the line - and that was a year where he took 229 3s and 89 FTs.
