I believe we could build with these two. We just need to find some good athletes to play with them..we need a tough interior 5 man and the 2 guard and 3 are good atheltes like dallas had when howard was becoming at finley's last year there...draft earl clark, maybe we could trade bosh for mayo and another player..what do you guys think?

Yep.

Calderon could easily be a 3 time MVP and I definitely see Bargs as a perenial all star and one time MVP

IMO
Calderon is not Nash, Bargs is different from Dirk.

If your going to be sarcastic get it right, Nash only won 2 MVP''s. Anyways I see them more as Stockton and Malone the way Bargs bruises bodies.

I wish. I see Bargnani actually surpassing Dirk if O'Neal Ever leaves. O'neal was brought in to develop bargs and he did his job now ship him. Jose will probably never come close. Nash's courtvision and passing ability is practically better than everyone in the league.

The difference between Steve Nash and Jose Calderon is that Nash's assist numbers are legit.

i completely agree that nash is much better than calderon, but i am curious on how calderon's assists are not 'legit'.
it's an argument made often, but i fail to understand the rationale it's based on.

lol no.

You're comparing 2 legit former MVPs to an unproven PG who could go either way, and a guy who's sucked something fierce for all but a 15 game stretch this season. Neither have shown that they have an extra level of play in them that MVPs show in big games and situations. When have Jose and Bargs put the team on their back and carried it through a tough game or stretch? Never.

Calderon can't create for others, most of his assits come of just moving the ball and the guy pulling for a shot.

i.e. Calderon passes ball to Bosh 15 ft from net. Bosh turns around and takes a jumpshot and it goes in. Calderon gets 1 assist ....

Calderon is no where near Nash's level and ability to make people better, Bargs is no where near as lethal as Dirk ... but Bargs is learning to play defense which Dirk can't do ... Lets stop comparing Bargs to Dirk (I am quite sure the comparison makes a few of you cry ) and just let him be Bargs ....

BTW, if we are traded Bosh, Calderon needs to go ... half court pg who can't create or play defense is a not a good mix , trade him while his value is high with Bosh here ....
