Roko's hands on hips

Post#1 » by Batmanz » Thu Feb 5, 2009 7:43 pm

When he does that he reminds me of Nash..
Maybe its just his mannerism or when he's gassed but I'd get it checked out early just in case.

in football at an early age they teach you when you are gassed to keep your hands on your helmet in practice rather than lean over or fall to the ground when your gassed. opens up your lungs.

maybe this is another thing taught... rather than putting your hands on your heads cuz that looks weird..? or he just finds it comfortable lol

In High School is we ever put our hands on our shorts or hips we had to run sprints our coach said it was a sign of weakness and that we were tired..hands on your head to open your lungs was fine though lol...Go figure?

He looks like a real fancy-boy when he puts his hands on his hips. He rests the back of his hand on the hip, making it look really odd. But hey, when you're tired, whatcha gonna do?

It's not when he's tired. He'll do it when he's first subbed into the game and at 100% energy-wise. It's just the way he stands. Not something to get worked up about. These guys don't have pockets. Where are they supposed to put their hands? The NBA needs to redesign the shorts.

lols ya, he'd prob look weirder if he didn't, I could see him walking like pinocchio

its just he reminds me of Nash when he does do it and I could picture him lying on the baseline when he's out

Totally off topic, but I was at the game yesterday and during warm ups, Roko was fooling around with Joey Graham, doing some playground tricks. And from what I saw, his handle is CRAZY. It really makes me wonder why he doesn't use it more to his advantage during games.

Is this a serious topic? lol. Guys grab their shorts when they're gassed too.. I don't think it's some sign of being an epic point guard.
