with Marion money we would definitly have enough to sign Lamar Odom, who can play small forward. Just look at his statistics from the last three games as a starter after the injury of Bynum.

Tru but I think we have a better chance at a HEdo turkoglu or Marvin (if we overpay). Lamar has an attitude and probably would not be interested in a non-contender.

Small sample size, but yes he would be a nice fit on the Raptors...for the right price.

Odom is twice the player that Marion is. Defensively they rebound at the same rate. I think Lamar is underrated defender. He can play play at the 4 defensively better then Marion is capable of, especially in the post.

Offensively they shot at around the same percent from outside. But Lamar has capability of playing POINT FORWARD. Can create off the dribble a lot better then Marion.

I would rather sign Lamar at $10M per year instead of Marion at $7-9M. We can get somebody like Moon to play the role of Marion MUCH CHEAPLY and our team overall be much better for it.

He's the guy I would spend the 8-10 mil on. He doesn't make this team a contender, but he's certainly a piece and a guy who fit our system. Plus, he can CREATE his own shot
