Why would Deron have to play by himself?

He plays off of other players in Utah and he is surrounded by some amazing role players like Okur, Brewer, and AK. While Bosh has Bargnani, Marion to play off of since we all know Jose doesn't do anything.

I had this argument with my buddy all game long, and it's very simple:

Would you trade Chris Bosh straight up for Deron Williams?

The OP should reform his question. It should be, if you were to start from scratch, who would you rather build around? I suggest this, because people are bringing up the supporting cast thing, which I think is irrelevent if we're asking who is better. You'd take the better player and build around him.

the bottom line is bosh hasn't been surrounded by ONE....ONE player of all star calibre...in his prime anyway (ie. VC dont count bosh was a pup).

if deron replaces bosh on THIS team...lol this argument would never even arise since deron would fade into irrelevancy.

deron plays with 3 guys that have been in all star games. boozer/okur/kirenko. marion JUST got here..bosh hasn't played with 1.
