We'll Take Kapono

Post#1 » by Nicky Nix Nook » Thu Apr 23, 2009 11:06 pm

Udrih, 2nd round pick, 2011 2nd round pick

for

Jason Kapono

Beno is a solid backup PG and an average starter. He's better than any backup PG you currently have.

I like Kapono, assuming Mccants is gone I think Jason could be a nice off the bench player.

How about we just give him to you for an autographed water bottle from Kevin Martin.

Interesting candidate to fill a much needed role for us, but that contract is horrific.

sounds like a very good trade... we would only have about 10-12 mil tied up for our backup pgs for the foreseeable future.. not bad.

I cant believe I'm going to say this, but, no imo.

I'll rather wait for Kapono being an expiring in 2011 than wait for Udrih to pick up his option in 2013. If Marion doesn't stay, I have no idea whose going to start at SF next year anyway.

No man. Colangelo can get much more value for Kapono when his contract expires in the summer of '10. Kapono's value will sky rocket since teams are looking for cap-space for the you know what...

And what do we do with Ukic? I'm all for getting rid of Kapono...but who wants 4 pg's on the team.
