lol.. a Pietrus-type player? you mean a black euro?

He meant that he wanted someone who is athletic by NBA standards and playing in Europe... not necessarily someone who is black.

I have to agree. I have nothing against Europe, but I want to see BC show us that he values American kids as much as he does Euro kids.

He did in Phoenix and it worked fine so I don't know what his problem is here. Maybe he buys into the whole thing that Americans don't want to live in Toronto which I think is BS. Maybe in the first 5 years the franchise started but not anymore.

Well, BC found Jamario, so it's not like he's adverse to American kids who can play. It is all about finding guys who can actually play. Thing is hidden gems are more likely to exist abroad (than in the States where guys get more exposure and team play isn't as developed of a concept).

Well, the slower SFs and the smaller PFs, I suppose. Velickovic is a better player than Printezis. However, the greek is a better fit for a NBA team looking for a 3/4 glue guy who can do the little things, run the open court and knock the occasional open shot.
