How would you react if we got a Top 3 pick in the Draft?

Get really, really excited if Raptors get top 2. :clap:

If you believe the experts then this is a 2-man draft and the prospect of drafting Rubio or Griffin can dramatically alter the Raptor roster.

If that happened then all of a sudden two Raptor cornerstones may not be entirely semi-untouchable --- in Mr. Bosh and Calderon.

If the Raps have a chance to draft Rubio, then trading for Steve Nash now may not entirely be unwise.

Nash has about a 2 year window before there's a massive decline, which should give enough time for Rubio to develop.

Can the Raps get lucky again?

If we got 2nd. I would forever preach that the NBA is rigged and Stern wanted Rubio in Toronto.

Well, watching it on tv it would feel like this.

1) Gets to the 9th pick and the Raptors haven't been shown yet. OMFG WE ARE TOP 3. It would feel like winning millions in the lottery.

2) It gets to the top 3 and BAM the raptors are 3rd. Boo, there goes all the fun.
It feels like you played the heart n stroke lottery and the 647, someone tells you that you won, and you are thinking you won some huge number of dollars but you found out all you won was some 30 thousand dollar car that is cool but you don't really want because of the perception of what you could of had.

But then again i have a special place in my heart for a college player that can drive but doesn't have an ugly-ass jumpshot. And Harden's 3 is pretty nice.

I just think a replacement for Caldy or Stronger inside presence would help us more than a swingman. I feel like our team didn't "get it right the first time" for pg/rebounding and its still a problem to this day since our VC-leaving rebuild days.

I'd love to have Blake Griffin instead of Bosh. Even if we flipped Bosh for another lottery pick and that's it we'd be better off for it in the long run.
