I'd take him over Flynn and Jrue but if BC takes him over DeRozan I'm going to be so ****ing pissed off.

Either way:

Johnson looks pretty good... he likes to play the 3 more than the 4. Can rebound, block, steal, score... a true stat stuffer guy. I think he can be a Marion type. I wouldn't be dissapointed if we took him. He can play both the 3 and 4, but prefers the 3.

We don't need a 2. Delfino and Parker are the future. We're so stacked at the 2 with those guys.

Anyways, I don't mind JJ as long as Dero is off the board. If they have to choose between Holiday and JJ so be it. Drafting Henderson feels like they are settling too much.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Were not exactly stacked at the 3 either. Marion? and then no one.

Don't want to alarm anyone... draftexpress has us taking Johnson as of now. :)

Nah man. We're not stacked any position.
After our starting 5, everyone is a crapshoot.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

I'd take him over Henderson or Holiday but not DeRozan or Flynn.

The kids got skills. And has a nice handle for a guy that is 245 but he will not be the BPA @ 9 IMO.

Agreed, if we take him over DeRozan then you no something is very wrong with DeRozan. Flynn can turn out to be the best player out of any of the above mentioned, but he doesn't really fit well on this team. Johnson would be great to get with another high pick. The problem is we have way too many holes to fill... we need more picks, which is unlikey to happen.

We all see players in NCAA during the season, others on youtube and you hear a lot of heresay along with legit draft reports. One thing I saw that was interesting were those post workout interviews and this guy seemed to be quite focused, articulate and sporting a sense of humour. Much like Bosh. The Raptors always seem to covet smart players. When all is said and done they may well like his mindset as much as they like his other assets. Assets a lot of teams like not just the Raptors. There are rumours of other teams interested in him at 11 or so. If true what is the difference between 9 and 11. Having said that I cannot see him playing garbage minutes behind Marion. If that turns out to be the case it could be a wasted pick. Maybe the real reason he is intriguing is it might allow them to renounce Marion changing their strategy somewhat and money allocations.

Get over it, man. I like DeRozan as much as anybody but he isn't the Vince Carter you make him out to be - not right now anyways.

And obviously he barely made it - he got hit on the way up and still had the body control to throw it down anyways. It wasn't one of the dunks of the year for no reason.
