well, that's an answer to a different question not related to the "big interview" but comes out from the same place just 10 minutes after...

if it is delfino does that pretty much means raps are not signing any big contract FA (the 10mill + talk)

so leaves it to Marion back or s&t

this doug smith bashing is getting a little old.

If you guys think he is garbage why do you keep posting his blogs and reports than?

I agree with you man, it really has to stop, do you expect him to be completely original and have new insider info every day, its not going to happen...especially with the rate of which he produces blogs, most his stuff is going to be regurgitated information.

Us of all people should realize how secretive and devious BC is and how you never really know what he is thinking or you can't predict the moves he is going to make.

I will say this, if there is something legitimate within the organization, Doug is usually the first one to report it.

What's the update on Delfino? Will he come over or stay in Europe?

So, if we announce a delfino signing (say, starting at three million) that leaves us with about 7 million to offer Ariza etc.

My question is, would we have to renounce the rest of our FAs to make a formal offer to Ariza,

OR

Can we still make a formal offer without renouncing and only have to renounce those FAs upon acceptance of the offer from the Ariza camp?

Actually that could be possible I think ... until next week the front office can't comment on anything related to FA signing, so if its BC or anyone from the Raps . . . .

Doug Smith's Blog wrote:Hey Doug - I'd love to have Lee join the Raps, but where do you think he fits in on the roster? Bosh/Bargnani playing the 4/5, do you think Lee would be coming off the bench?

Blogger's note: What if Lee simply replaced Marion and guarded threes most of the time?

Oh dear Lord help us if that's the plan.
