OT: Nathan Jawai on the Mavs

Post#1 » by cookieman » Sat Jul 11, 2009 7:17 am

He looked like a lost puppy hanging out at the VSL today wearing a Mavs t-shirt but not dressing for their game tonight. Is he in Dallas's plans at all? Felt bad for the guy, hanging out at the end of their bench without a word from his new teammates. Maybe I'll just give him a big hug tomorrow. When can he be re-traded? I wonder if they would consider swapping Douby for Jawai to set it back to the deal's original structure. That'd be fine with me.

trade in a package? 2 months
Trade alone? Whenever they want to.

Nathan Jawai is one of those players who could die on the ball court. He has a murmur.

Poor dude, I think his NBA experiment has reached it's expiration date, hopefully he gets a chance somewhere maybe in Europe where slow-footed jump shooting post players could thrive.

I wished we parted with POB instead of Jaws.

I'm wondering whether he was in the trade because he makes 100,000 dollars less or because the Mavs like him more than POB.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Poor guy, making a million dollars to sit on a bench.
Its sad.

Meanwhile, most of us will work 30 years to earn what he is making this basketball season alone.

Sort of disappointed to see him go (but not as sad as someone like Ozzy) and I hope he gets a chance on a team in the L (if it isn't with the Mavs). But at worst he'll go back to the NBL (The Australian League) and dominate down there. Not so bad.

That is nothing but an outright lie. Jawai does NOT have a heart murmer in any way. He was born with a large heart that the Raptors thought may of been enlarged as in sill growing which could of been bad.

His heart is not still growing though and he is healthy as could be. The only reason he sat out time was so the Raptors could monitor if his heart was still growing, when they had enough data to know it wasn't he was cleared to play.

I can't wait to see Jawai dunk on Douby.

Sadly I do, him and Patty Mills.

For some reason I just can't cheer for Bogut, he's too much of an a$$

Sorry to burst your bubble dude, but Jawai dunking on Douby is highly unlikely. Jawai plays under the basket, Douby plays on the perimeter and guards on the perimeter. If anything it's possible that Douby can break his man and posterize Jawai in a dunk.
