He did have a very good year with us in 06-07 and he was the 2nd option on the team.

At Jose's expense. We also played way better when TJ was out and Jose stepped in. It was once he came back and Bargs had his surgery that things got iffy.

True or not, it's right attitude to have.

Why not, anything can happen.

The injury excuse is great for Calderon last year but not for TJ Ford who had a traumatic incident?

Calderon was garbage last year. That's the truth, as much as people on here want to deny it. That's why BC saw this and wanted to get insurance in Jack. If BC wanted to get just a backup, he could've opted for someone like Watson.

But anyways, that's a bit off topic.

All the best to Watson.
Prediction
Spurs in 7. Parker MVP. Lebron 6-17fg, 18pt, 8reb, 5 asst in game 7 LOSS.
The Heat will choke!

People put way too much stock in what athletes say for public consumption. He's saying exactly what Pacer fans want to hear and would be stupid to do otherwise. It's for this reason I don't bother watching athlete interviews anymore, biggest waste of time for everyone involved.

Cavs, Celts, Magic, Hawks, Raptors, Sixers, Wizards. There Heat, Bobcats, Pacers are all on the same level. It's going to be a tough race for the playoffs for those teams, although I'd easily put Heat in their cause of Wade.

whoa! Earl Watson is a RealGM member!

hey Earl, can u hook me up with some weekend tickets?

Coming from the guy who says the Raptors will be the NBA Champs this year, that statement holds ZERO weight.

I'm one of few (if any) people that think the Pacers will make the playoffs, but come on Earl.

This is a problem, earl watson was notorious for being a low percentage wannabe starter in OKC/Seattle

1 z-Cleveland Cavaliers
2 y-Boston Celtics
3 y-Orlando Magic
4 x-Atlanta Hawks
5 x-Miami Heat
6 x-Philadelphia 76ers[a]
7 x-Chicago Bulls[a]
8 x-Detroit Pistons
9 Indiana Pacers
10 Charlotte Bobcats
11 New Jersey Nets[d]
12 Milwaukee Bucks[d]
13 Toronto Raptors
14 New York Knicks
15 Washington Wizards

Not only did Indiana have a better record than us last year, but we also finished in the bottom 3 of the conference..

Yes, we did make significant changes, but we haven't done s*** yet.. For all we know, Indiana could be better than us this year.. We should know from experience that a team on paper doesn't mean anything until the games are played..

Raptors fans are the last people who should be making fun of any other team in the league..

Don't sleep on them. I'm not saying they're top 5, but they should make the playoffs with that roster.

yes, Roy will lead them to the promise land (in slow motion).

be weary of any player not named Kobe who put up career #s versus the Toronto Raptors
