OT: So, what does your Avatar represent/signify?

Post#1 » by Torontos_raptor » Wed Sep 2, 2009 5:59 pm

Pretty simple. We all have an Avatar, some more noticable than others. Mine, I admit is pretty genaric, pretty much the first raptors picture that I found on google image search. However, I notice many have different Avatars that seem to signify something, this is finally your chance to let us in on your inside joke or the significance of your avatar. One that always sticks out for me is Lil Ozzy's, it's just so random...

Since it's the dog days of summer I thought this may spur the masses into action.

my avatar shows Chris Bosh posterizing Brian Skinner this year. I wish he would do that more often... :(

I believe I was the first with a Degrassi avatar. I have had the same Avatar since day one.

Now the board is filled with Characters. Joey, Snake, Clutch

In a few more years we may have the whole cast.

Pretty much everything to me. It's my son, throwing it down with a Bosh Jersey over spiderman PJ's Killer combo. He's three, he's working on his free throws and dribbling and he can name almost the entire team and the Coach.

I used to have a picture of Bob Marley smoking weed. It represented something really really deep and profound, but i can't remember what

Mine is from the movie Oldboy and is from what I consider one of the best scenes of all time. Plus as a mod I sometimes fantisize about running around this board with a hammer in hand dishing out justice.

Dock Ellis, who pitched a no-hitter in 1970 against the San Diego Padres while tripping on LSD.

I should also point out that I am actually, in real life, an archaeologist, so the avatar/account name seemed appropriate.
