Liar. You didn't boo when they passed on Iggy. Nobody did. Sure, the Hoffa pick wasn't good, and I'm sure you didn't like it...but we still had Carter at the 2 spot. I don't think it was seen as such a big loss as the percieved Stoudamire over O'Bannon pick.

Just because you were peering through my window on draft night and I was macking on your girl, doesn't make me a liar.
I boo'd.

But we all had a good time and that's what is important. Just joking.

Seemed like all the boos were coming from the lower bowl...

I was at the Skydome and I was stunned silent, I was a big time NCAA fan back then and O'Bannon wasn't just about the hype, he was an all-american champ with the necessary credentials & skills.
I dont know the full story of why he didnt pan out as a pro but everything I heard was that the doctors believed his knee would never last an 82 game NBA season.... maybe a 35 game NCAA season but never 82. He was seen as damaged goods by the time the draft rolled around and for good reason. H ecouldnt compete physically in the pros with a broken wheel.
As for Damon, he was a pleasant surprise but anyone who followed college ball knew that in his junior year Stoudamire/Reeves were considered the best backcourt in America (although I think Eddie Jones/Aaron McKie were better)
