OT: Roy Hibbert
Numbers so far this season as a starter playing 26 minutes:
11.8 points / 10.2 rebounds / 2.7 blocks
Not bad at all. That's the kind of player that would look great next to Bosh or Bargnani.

Who would you suggest we trade?
Bosh or Bargnani?

I wasn't really saying that, I don't think he'd be a starter on a good team yet. He would look great as a third big on this team though, don't you think?

Hindsight's 20/20. And Hibbert is playing on an awful team. We don't trade him, we still have TJ, no Jack and probably no Hedo. Who knows what we trade TJ for if it isn't for JO.
Not gonna lie though, this team would look nice with CV and Hibbert on it.

I don't think we would've selected Hibbert had we kept that pick. Don't feel so sad.

Yea I hear you, and you're 100% right. He's on a bad team, and who knows what not trading that pick would mean for this current team. Could potentially go in 100 good/bad directions. At the same time, I think keeping this pick was an option. If I remember correctly there was a number of deals on the table for TJ.

One deal I kept hearing about in the last minutes before we made the JO deal was for Rip. That was the deal I wanted back then, but looking at it now, we wouldn't have Demar or Hedo. There's too many factors to weigh in.

I was thinking about the 'apparent' TJ/Gerald Wallace swap. I still think he'd be a great fit on this team. Definitely too many factors though, I agree. Still fun to think about.

Impossible to say. I mean we were trading for a big center in J.O. If we don't make that trade and keep the pick you have to assume Colangelo is looking for a big.

Re: OT: Roy Hibbert
At the time acquiring O'Neal seemed like a no brainer... having him complement Bosh and all. Unfortunately it didn't pan out, and Hibbert is have gnia pretty solid start to the year. Still wouldn't have changed that trade...since with we were able to move O'Neal's contract and have our current roster as we see it today. Good for Roy though, glad he's got an opportunity to start somewhere!

The dude had it in him from the start. He got off to a slow start last year, but you could tell he would be a very good C in the league. The Jawai for Hibbert tradeoff was horrible.

I'm almost 100% positive BC would've selected Batum had we kept the pick, Hibbert wouldn't have been a Raptor

Re: OT: Roy Hibbert
Impressive start to his sophomore season. He's a bit of a lumberer but he's massive and plays defense.
However, I think I want my backup C for the Raps to be an athletic energy guy. Like Amir but stronger, coincidentally. It's nice to have a true big on the bench but might not get the minutes.
Crazy to think that Darko is only a few months older than Hibbert. Could he be a mobile yet defensive backup C for us?

Lol at the Pacers bashing. An awful team? They're missing their two key players in Dunleavy and Murphy yet they're still playing some good ball. They have as good a chance as the Raps to get into one of the lower playoff seeds

The fact that their two key players are Dunleavy and Murphy says a lot IMO. Yea they aren't awful I guess, but I don't see them making the playoffs. Lottery bound.

for someone who said there was a deal for Rip...never true
BC would had done it in a heart beat but Dumars would never never do it
