Yikes... "it's not the system"...

That pretty much means "yeah, it's the system".

I have a feeling we'll be hearing a lot of compliments showered on CB from the Miami Heat organization for the remainder of this year.

I don't think it would be in Wade's recruiting interest to suggest we should be up there with Orlando and Atlanta.

Sure it is.

By planting the seed that the Raptors should be better than they are, he's implying that the team hasn't surrounded Bosh with enough winning talent.... and that Miami would.

Nevermind the 'tough schedule' smokescreen.

How would implying that the Raptors are a better team than their schedule indicates due
to a tough schedule POSSIBLY imply that the Raptors haven't surrounded Bosh with enough talent? The 'tough schedule' isn't a smokescreen, its the reason why he's saying we're better than our record shows.

So by your standards, if Wade says:
"I like Toronto, it's a great city and the Raptors are a great organization. I enjoy every chance I get to come here and play"

He REALLY means:
"Toronto is cold and is not an American city. I hate it here and I don't see why any free agent would sign with a crap team that has too many white people."

Right?

The reason why players say these things about other teams they are about to play is to be mentally prepared for it. Any team can't be taken lightly.

I'll bet not one realgm member would be able to come up with a system that'll work

Return to Toronto Raptors
