Andrea played well in the fourth. Did some nice trapping on Johnny Flynn late. Racked up some critical points. The crowd was so so keyed on our 0-17 shooting behind the arc that when he made the first three, the place exploded. It was a strange way to get the crowd into the game, but that and Flynn's bizarre-never-to-be-repeated behind-the-back pass were key down the stretch.

Does anyone else not like Turk taking all those transition threes? I understand its an efficient shot on paper and his former team Orlando does it alot but he just seems to jack those up at the worst possible, like when the other go on a 6-0 run or when we don't score 3 possessions in a row.

I'm actually very encouraged by Bargs' last 3 games, despite the bad shooting. I'll take Bargnani with defense and weak FG% than the other way around.

I think his shooting will come along. He's not used to spending this much energy on the defensive end so his legs are tired and his shots are short. It'll just take an adjustment

That was a ugly shooting display by both sides, buy I'll take the win any night. Another solid game by Bosh. JJ stepping up, he earned his paycheck tonight. DD solid again. Bargs needs to get his shot back, what happened? Ankle?

....did he really say that? Last time I checked he was shooting below .300% from beyond the stripe.

I also think Andrea played very well in the 4th. He was very nimble on his feet when it mattered and hit a big shot that swung the momentum. I think tonight's game displayed how important it is for him to play defense and rebound the ball for us.

Andrea's personality is starting to break out. Kind of like bosh a few years ago. Glad to see him more comfortable overall as he seems like a real good guy. His shot is off but you have to be pleased with his defensive effort. Once that ankle heals up he will have a bit more bounce to his shot and hell get it back.

Now the raps won this game on the defensive end which is great to see. The ball just didnt go in but they found a way to win it. If the shots fall we destroy the wolves.

Bargs is using too much energy on D, so his shots are off.
Calderon also has poor stamina.

Do we not have a conditioning coach?

Bargs improves his play on D, then people complain about his offense.
Bargs shoots well, then people pick on his defensive lapses.

Guy cant win with this board...EVER.

And, to be fair, there were a number of rebounds he pulled down that he simply didn't get credit for. Perhaps as many as four.

You're almost there. Might there be a third option?

The board expects him to play like Dirk on O while being the DPOY at the C. Reasonable expectations really.

Adequate on both ends would be a good start.

This Bargs debate will never die will it? I've supported the guy since he came into the L, but even I can say that he sucks balls at times. But some of the nut huggers on this board are just BRUTAL. It's like they got their cherry popped by Andrea who in turn constantly abuses them, but yet they still go back to him, refusing to see the negatives.

There is something beautifully ironic about this post. I burst into laughter upon reading it.
