Caron and Hedo can play at the same time if it were to happen. You don't have to define positions when both are wing players. Crittenton and his drama is the big red star with this "rumour" that makes me smell bulls**t knowing BC's philosophies.

Not really - he'd just cut him. It's an expiring deal.

Not sure whether Butler can play the SG position. Give them Turkey Glue instead and send Calderon for Martin.

+1

Not only that, Butler is a pretty good defensive player. I don't know if you have to start Butler with Hedo (depends on his ego) but you could bring one of the bench for 32 minutes and let them finish games together. Butler is going to give speed of two guards but unlike Jose, he has the ability to play off the ball on offense and improves our defense and rebounding because he would be simply replacing Jose.

All I know is if this were to happen BC would look like a genius. Plain and simple, you add another option to the Raps like Butler who adds scoring, defense, toughness and swagger.....it's just what we need. I'd like to hear someone legit give the rumour though....no offense OP.

Moreso than the types of over the top reactions you just put on display?

Rasho pretty much came here voluntarily... I somehow doubt Colangelo would use him as filler in trades, especially since he already dealt him before.

i think BC would be crazy not to do Jose+Amir for Butler. of course you try and not include Amir but it certainly can't be a deal breaker.

Id like to keep Johnson but if it we HAVE to give him up for butler you do it. I would be ecstatic if we could pull off that trade.Imagine an 8 man rotation of Jack,Butler,Hedo,Bosh,Bargs,Derozan,Johnson and Banks. Please dont start choking our chain, i understand that not all trades go down and this one might not go down but i hope you'e not creating that out of the blue

You're right, but that's not the point... The problem that will occur between Turkoglu and Butler is still going to be the exact same thing as Jose and Hedo right now which is handling the ball. Butler needs the ball in his hands to operate just as much as Hedo too... He's not that great of an off-ball player...

I doubt the first guy Washington wants to get rid of is Butler.

I don`t understand how this makes sense for WAS. Why do they want Amir? I know he is young talent etc etc but isn`t he a free agent this summer? Or is he restricted free agent? Surely they don`t want him just to rent.

They would be better then Cack/Hedo/Bargnani/Bosh defensively ...

I highly doubt Crittenton is holding this trade up. If anything the Raps could just waive him.
