Exum Favors
For
Parker and #12 in Draft?

Would you do it?

No -- at that point, I'd rather roll the dice on Exum than give up Favors. I did have to stop and think about it for a second, though.

Thanks for your INput! Us orlando Fans like Favors alot hes gonna be something special

Glad he's appreciated! I do think he'd fit in well on your team. You guys, like us, have a ways to go on the rebuild, but there's some good pieces there. Love Oladipo (hopefully his shooting numbers continue to improve over time, because he's got great intangibles).

Tha Jazz do not want to trade Favors.

But.....the 12th pick is not enough.....add an unprotected 2015 pick to start the conversation.

If parker is still there at #3

What about
#3+AA+#12 for #4+#favors+#23+#34
Draft Carter

If we can draft Exum, Parker or Embiid, I'd be ecstatic. I certainly wouldn't trade Favors. Where is that coming from?

I think Exum is likely to be a better player than Parker, tbh. There, I said it.

Take Afflalo, Favors, #12 and #23 out of the deal, and the Jazz might do it. Personally, I like Exum as much as Parker, but I'm repeating myself.

Might do it? Moving up from #4 to #3 at the cost of one 2nd round pick seems like the ultimate no-brainier to me.

Do you think he is worth the #35 pick?

Maybe trade Philly our #35 for their #39 and #47 (they need to consolidate their 5 2nd round picks somehow), pick up Inglis (and stash in Europe for another year or two) and DeAndre Kane?

DX doesn't update for team needs until much later in the process, but I think the Jazz would pick Exum at 4 over Randle.

I worry about Kane being able to hit the NBA 3. Inglis could possibly go to the Spurs in the 1st. Hard to say this early. I give him the classic bubble 1st label. Defense wins championships. Inglis has high potential on that end. Plus he has the ability to initiate the offense and stretch the D as a spot 3 shooter. He could be a valuable role player as he develops in time.

Correct. Of course, the Jazz should select Exum before Randle.

1.
Jabari Parker
10.4% CHANCE TO WIN
2.
Andrew Wiggins
3.
Dante Exum
4.
Joel Embiid
5.
Aaron Gordon
6.
Julius Randle
7.
Marcus Smart
8.
Noah Vonleh
9.
Doug McDermott
10.
Gary Harris
11.
Tyler Ennis
12.
Dario Saric
13.
Nik Stauskas
14.
Zach LaVine
1.
Jabari Parker
Height: 6-8 | Weight: 241 | Freshman
Duke | Small Forward

Parker is a scoring machine with a high basketball IQ and is perhaps the most NBA-ready player at the top of the draft. He is a leader with a terrific work ethic and can play multiple positions. The main knocks against him are his lack of elite defensive talent and his occasional struggles against long, athletic defenders.

My top 4 now is:

1- Embiid
2 - Parker
3 - Wiggins
4 - Exum

If it is 5th pick or worst I'd rather trade down or trade out.

I would think, then, that you have major reservations about Smart being able to hit the NBA 3, as Kane is a much better outside shooter than Smart.

It will be interesting to see player movement as the draft gets closer. Right now, Inglis is penciled in at about mid-2nd round. I would be willing to trade the Jazz #35 for two of Philly's 2nd round picks in order to get him as I have read that he has great athleticism and potential, but needs development as for every wow moment there is an equally bad wow moment in his play (at least last summer that was the case). I doubt he comes over right away.

Smart's jumper does worry me though he is younger than Kane with more upside. Inglis is a 6'9 240lb wing with a 7'3 wingspan. At 18 he is already playing at the top level in France. His biggest skill could be as a defensive stopper with the ability to make shots. Maybe never an offensive star but a role player who can make shots and be a stopper. Imagine how big and strong he could be in a few years. This is the type of prospect you need to guard Lebron. Plus he could be physical enough to put on a post like Aldridge someday as well.

If basketball gods do exist, the stars will align and Jabari Parker will be a member of the Utah Jazz.
