The more I read about him and his career, the more interested I get. I liked 2 other guys prior to hearing about the possibilities of him, and I think we should do the right thing.

Hawks, thought about him, but then hire Popavich's top assistant.

Nets, thought about him, but then hire in house.

We could do either of those options, but I think we should really go this international route, and got for Messina. It seems like a good ratio of international talent leads to success and rings.

Heard he likes the west coast more and that New York isn't his preferred spot

Kerr is a long shot I know. But I just think he's a perfect fit to lead this team

JVG is a real possibility. I was reading an article and it mentioned his ties with DL from his Houston days. I also think he would be a good coach to lead this team

DL has ties to a ton of coaches, which is cool, but I think he needs to look for something that is going to give us the best chance at a Division Title, and WCF.

Kerr would be great, in my opinion. Van Gundy woulsnt fit with all our young players...... he would be a better fit for a veteran team......

Sign Messina. Draft well. Sign his current PG and go from there.

I'd be happy with Messina. I'd also be happy with Blatt and Stan Van Gundy.

Watching his Kinder Bologna coached team with Antoine Rigaudeau was a thing of beauty.

According to Stein, Snyder is indeed being considered.

Quin Snyder is now rumored as a coaching possibility. Not a guy the players ever heard of. He will have to earn players respect like some of the other possibilities named except Jeff Van Gundy and Karl which get player credibility as soon as he is named.

That cuts both ways. It could be immediate credibility or immediate skepticism, based on whether players' preconceptions are positive or negative.

I agree but I think George Karl and Jeff Van Gundy are generally accepted as high quality basketball coaches.

Out of all the names thrown around so far, he's the one I like best.

Wouldn't mind seeing George Karl get a shot either, though part of me doesn't want any retreads. Though Ty has made me wary of assistants.

I read an article with Travis Hansen former BYU star who played under Messina, and was saying he is the perfect candidate but doesn't think messina is to thrilled about our roster and also likes to have deep pockets and be with a big spending club
