You can think this is going to be a loss... and probably will be, but Jazz are pretty unpredictable.

Quin are doing some extrange subtitutions, with some players playing too much, and others playing less than desirable.
We have some leads in every of the last 4 games, and we won two by 1 and 2, and we lost the other 2, vs goods teams at the paper, but with some injuries who made them weaker.

Raptors looks pretty good with a 7-2 record, but if you watch their schedule, they have won vs:
Hawks, Orlando twice (home and away), OKC (with a lot of injuries), @ Boston, Wizards and Philly.

Only Hawks and Wizards are quality wins if we watch nba standings. Then they have lost @ Heat and vs Bulls.

We have lost vs good teams but Pacers... and Hawks are doing nice, and probably we should won. Our quality wins are vs Cavs and Suns.

So, they are favorites, because they are winning the games they suppose they should win, but I think the difference between both teams is not as great as records would say.

Watching rosters, I don't think either they are better than us.
Altough there's not great differences between players,
I think Favors is better than Valanciunas, Kanter is better than Johnson (not by much) right now, Hayward is more efficient than Derozan (altough Demar score a little bit more, he is under 40% FG) and Burks is a little bit better than Ross (not a great difference). Only Lowry seems clearly better than Burke right now.

Still their bench is stronger than us. I like specially Vasquez and Williams.

2-3 guaranteed on road trip plus had good chance to beat Pacers and Hawks, this is a free roll. I expect a blowout but why not win. Kanter could play a lot of minutes bc he is rested for some reason lol.
Play with the Pass, Play with a Purpose, and Play with Pace along with Obvious Unselfishness....Coach Snyder says the sky is purple than Jazz players say nice purple sky! LONG LIVE THE MAD SCIENTIST!!!!

I hope he plays Kanter a ton if he is getting buckets. Kanter probably feels like he has been on vacation with the low minutes he has been getting.

At the very least I hope coach has been very clear with Kanter about his playing time so he isn't left trying to guess why he isn't playing more

I think Coach Quin is the type of coach that would approach to him and tell him he did not play purely bc of matchups.

Corbin would simply say I should have played you more but your are not a 15 year veteran.

You guys are gonna feel the wrath of an angry squad. After they lost to the Bulls, the Raptors are looking to take it out on someone. Unfortunately it has to be the Jazz.

Trey Burke's career game(treated like it) will be short lived with Lowry....Toronto puts their winning fortunes in the hands of Derozan and Lowry.........I'd like the Jazz to dictate ,this whole road trip has been playing the pace of the team the Jazz are playing...I want to see the Jazz dictating ,not reacting..seems when they play that way they are a great scoring team ,the low scores are matching the other teams substitution patterns instead

If the Raps look past us or assume a win they will receive an unpleasant surprise.

I like that Raps team though. Hope Enes gets to play vs JV. That should be a rivalry.

Burke going to get schooled by Lowry
Burks and Ross will be a great matchup
Hayward and DeRozan will be a great matchup
Kanter should get 35 mins tonight on Amir Johnson, Kanter should just win this.
Favors should beat Valancuinas but his size will bother him.

Toronto Bench should kill Utah bench.

So if the starters for Utah play 38 minutes each and Burke takes less than 10 shots then it gives Utah a chance. So no early foul trouble is necessary so the starters stay in. I don't see Gobert getting many minutes tonight. For Utah to have a shot the bench probably can't have a +/- worse than -6 for the 10-15 mins they play.

Hope it's a good game!

enes is well rested and should get 30+ min tonight. enes and jonas competed and shared history on being the best young big man which still will be a motivation for him.

for jazz, a win could be pleasant but unlikely.

Are you guys in favor of tanking?

Because the raptors will help you get a fast start

Yeah, James Johnson and Ed Davis call each other nightly to grieve their wasted talents. Just glad their respective teams don't play them enough minutes to hurt you.

This feels like the inevitable let-down game at the end of the road trip, the one that the Jazz are never really in.

I think people here feel about tanking this year the same way they feel about Raptors fans trolling.

Raptors are a really good team but not even close to being a championship contender. They lack star talent as Derozan is a 2nd or 3rd player on a true contender.

Jazz at least have Hayward > Derozan plus Favors and extra draft picks. There is also the Dante (the next big thing) factor. Jazz more likely to win a championship in the next 5 years than the Raptors.

Raptors fans are cocky now? Weird. I'm kinda disappointed, I always think of Canadians as polite. I guess you guys are just a**holes like the rest of us.
