Probably Hayward and Hood won't play... but I put them more from my desire than for the reality.

I think sitting Hood and Hayward is not a bad thing. I think we are going to need Favs to be a go to guy in our offense and with our scorers out Favs might feel justified in taking the onus for the rest of the season... and it would do him good. I would like to see more low post possessions and working on the playing the double team.

Also, we need to get Rudy some more looks... although he is so raw I have no idea how. :)

You know, if Hayward sits for the year, Favors could steal the MVP in my game-by-game MVP tally. I assigned 3 points for each game someone got the First Place MVP spot, 2 points for the Second Place, and 1 point for Third Place. Right now, it's 122-98 in favor of Hayward. If Favors gets 2 or 3 points per game, as in finishing first or second each game, he might win it.

I think I would then go back and evaluate a few box scores, I guess. Maybe weigh it differently.

MVP Tally
1: Gordon Hayward (29), Derrick Favors (16), Rudy Gobert (9), Trey Burke (6), Enes Kanter (5), Alec Burks (4), Rodney Hood (1), Dante Exum (1)
2: Derrick Favors (20), Gordon Hayward (13), Enes Kanter (12), Trey Burke (8), Rudy Gobert (7), Alec Burks (6), Joe Ingles (2), Rodney Hood (1), Elijah Millsap (1), Trevor Booker (1)
3: Enes Kanter (12), Trey Burke (12), Derrick Favors (11), Gordon Hayward (9), Rudy Gobert (7), Joe Ingles (4), Rodney Hood (4), Alec Burks (4), Trevor Booker (4), Dante Exum (2), Elliot Williams (1)

Giving them 3 points for first place, 2 for 2nd, and 1 for 3rd, here are the season totals so far:.

Gordon Hayward: 122
Derrick Favors: 98
Enes Kanter: 51
Trey Burke: 48
Rudy Gobert: 48
Alec Burks: 28
Rodney Hood: 9
Joe Ingles: 8
Trevor Booker: 6
Dante Exum: 5
Elijah Millsap: 2
Elliot Williams: 1

# of Games They Have Shown Up in Top Three
Gordon Hayward: 51/68
Derrick Favors: 47/67
Enes Kanter: 29/49
Alec Burks: 14/27
Trey Burke: 26/70
Rudy Gobert 23/71
Trevor Booker: 5/69
Joe Ingles: 6/68
Dante Exum: 3/71
Elliot Williams: 1/8
Rodney Hood: 5/41

Yes, me doing this is a bit vain, but it's something I enjoy doing.

I been watching a TON of NCAA basketball stuff. I saw a really cool fun fact.

Of all cities in the world, which would you think has the highest TV rating of all time for a NCAA Basketball game?!? Any guess. Salt Lake City 1979, still owns the record. The National Championship game, Magic vs Bird. March Madness was born in Salt Lake City....and I hope it finishes in Indiana, well it is going to this year, I just know Utes will be there.

If anyone cared, my Bracket has Arizona vs Utah in the Championship game. It is my dream matchup, REVENGE!

Utes Coach played for Jazz back in day, Montana Man turned Jazzman, turned Utah Man.

Yea we need Hood and Burks back badly, and we need to get good back court player in the draft or in free agency.

Hayward has a bum shoulder.
Favors left tonight with back spasms.
Hood has chronic GI distress apparently.
Now Exum is also puking.

The wheels have fallen off. It's not how I wanted to see the season end but it's happening. The Jazz are going to mail it in for the last 10 and look forward into the off-season.

Is this summer league all ready? I tried to watch for a while and every time the camera panned in on a Jazz player I was like, 'who is that?'

This happened like 3 times in a row.

I don't even know the players on my own team anymore. It's rather sad. It'd kinda like Summer League. Maybe the tank is on.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I like Hayward's strong return but hate his post game statement. You don't lose to a 27-win team and then call them dangerous. Momentum Shomentum... it seems too late for tanking as well
