We have been looking for a good backup PG, why not Shaun? Hes lanky, wont have an issue being a back up either. What do yall think?

He's got about 2 years and $11 million left on his contract, what are you willing to trade for him?

Re: Shaun Livingston
Can't see Golden State giving up useful pieces for 2nd rounders now that they know they're a title contender. I suspect the only guy they're looking to trade right now is David Lee because they want a cheaper option.

Re: Shaun Livingston
I would agree loserX but the fact they are a contender means they can get useful pieces cheaper than Livingston's contract.

Re: Shaun Livingston
Livingston is the best backup point in the league. Golden State isn't getting rid of them if they can avoid it. Maybe Alec would get it done, maybe. I'd love to have him, it just isn't a realistic scenario.

Trey Burke and a 2nd back, they need cap to resign Green, maybe even go as far as sending them Burke and Booker for David Lee, Livingston and a future 1st.

In this case the Jazz need a vet leader at PG to bridge the gap to Exum. The best case scenarios I can think of involve pulling a pro from overseas.

They have his bird rights, they don't need cap space. Although that deal might be somewhat interesting to them. Not sure they'd include the pick...

This is true but less tax to pay.
