What Will Our Record Be at the All-Star Break?

Post#1 » by MHSL82 » Mon Jan 11, 2016 7:29 am

I meant to start this earlier, but got behind a bit.

Before the All-Star Break we are only facing ONE team out of 16 who isn't either less than .500 overall or at the venue we play the game.

@ Portland (16-24, 9-9)
Sacramento (15-22, 5-12)
Lakers (8-31, 4-19)
@ Charlotte (17-20, 13-7)
NY Knicks (19-20, 9-12)
@ Brooklyn (10-27, 6-13)
@ Washington (16-19, 8-11)
Detroit (21-16, 9-11)
Charlotte (17-20, 4-13)
Minnesota (12-26, 7-10)
Chicago (22-13, 6-8)
Denver (14-24, 8-13)
Milwaukee (15-24, 5-17)
@ Phoenix (13-26, 9-11)
@ Dallas (22-16, 11-6)
@ New Orleans (11-25, 4-16)

Bonus Question: What Will Our Record Be?

Yes, we need Favors to be better than 50%.
Still is a easy Schedule:
Every team but Pistons, Mavs and Bulls are under 50%, so we have a change.

And even then, their record at the place we're playing (road or away), on Dallas is over .500.

Just as all are winnable remember that this team can lose to anyone on any given night.

The Jazz should be above .500 at the break, but this isn't a team where I feel confident in them handling their business.

We are 10-7 with Gobert playing (10-6 with him starting) and 7-10 without him.

Four games left, and all of them are winnable. We need to go 3-1 to be at .500. I want to say that's where we'll be, but like I said earlier I do not trust this team to handle their business.

Interesting note, a perfect 4-0 could put us in the 6th seed. Here are the remaining schedules:

Dallas (0 GB) - SAS, @MEM, UTA

Houston (1.5 GB) - @PHX, POR, @GSW, @POR

Portland (3 GB) - TOR, @HOU, @MEM, HOU

Utah (3 GB) - MIL, @PHX, @DAL, @NOP

Probably we'll loss @ Dallas... This is... all are winnable, but if we go 2-2 or even 1-3 we cannot be surprised.

i think 2-2 would be ok. Jazz are never good in Dallas and NOP wants to make a push also. 3-1 i would be a bit surprised and 4-0 i would be totally fired up and i could hardly wait for the allstarbreak to end..

I think this team can beat any team and lose to any team on any given night but with Rudy and Favs back, I think the pendulum has just swung a little further to the win on any given night side. I predict a very good game in Dallas with this team 25-25 trying to win 7 straight.
