The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

You should go intern for the Jazz analytics department. Maybe you can help Locke with some stats :P

Ha! One of the reasons I'm particularly salty about PAAC is that I feel like Locke semi-plagiarized it from me.

Old school locked on listeners remember that before PAAC, there was the Locke offensive rating. He was asking for suggestions about the greatest offensive seasons ever, and I was reading them all from my list that was essentially the same thing as PAAC. He asked me how I was doing it, I told him roughly what I did, and not to long after that he came out with PAAC and called it his best work yet.

Salty me is salty.

Damn... you should do something even better :) I can give you an idea... for example, you can try extracting the numbers from specific play types from the synergy stats on the nba site. This way low-usage high efficiency players will not be rewarded for using only the best of high efficiency chances. For example, if Rudy scores 1.25 ppp on cuts and the average for the league on cuts is 1.20 ppp, this would give him only 0.05 points per possession used instead of the 0.25 or whatever the number is for average possession. Then do the same from all play types and sum up the results. I think this would be better measure of how good of an offensive player somebody is.

You can call it Real PAAC :D

I agree with stitches. It's about time this board got some representation on the Jazz's front office. :D
