Pretty excited mcgary is supposed to be playing now that I'm over the 'not the guy I want' phase.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I want to see how he looks playing basketball for the first time in months. I thought I was getting over it, but the more I think about the draft the more upset about it I get. Hopefully, the three rookies look good. I'm assuming Adams is going to play and he could end up going for the block record. I remember Ibaka got close to it one year, but got hurt and missed some games.

He's definitely still not the pick I would have liked, but now that he's here I'm rooting for him and optimistically looking forward to seeing him prove me wrong.

Yeah, these games are fun to watch if for no reason other than seeing who's for real. Adams showed a bit last year and it catapulted his whole seaon. Hoping for another good year.

Yeah. There have been plenty of guys play well in simmer league that didn't carry over to the regular season but I can't recall too many playing poorly that ended up being good. Basically if you can't stand out against that level of competition then it'll be hard to stand out against nba rotation players. Mitch coming off the back does have a pretty good excuse however.

Who's the starting 5? Will Adams or Lamb be there?

Adams should be there. I don't think Lamb will. Unless I'm mistaken it is rookie and 2nd year players. Pleiss might be there since they bringing him over. He has been there there in the past, but not as a player. I'd guess Semaj, Roberson, Huestis, Jarrett and Adams as the starting five. With Pleiss and McGary getting significant playing time. McGary might start over Jarrett.

Is Pleiss really coming over? I wonder how his contract will work.

It is being reported by multiple sources that they reached a deal with his euro team on the buyout. So Pleiss is coming. He was a 2nd round pick so he is not bound to a rookie pay scale. This probably means the end of Thabeet.

Well, looks like we got John Stockton's son there (not the one who played at Zaga, another son who was playing in Europe). McGary will as well from what I've heard.

Are there multiple sources on the Pleiss rumors? I think everyone is just citing the same source from Europe... and I'm not sure anyone knows how credible that source is...

Not sure how reliable hoops hype typically is with summer league rosters but they have Lamb as one of the 4 confirmed members of the thunder summer league team.

Makes sense... Reggie was in it last season. Hopefully Lamb can have a dominant MVP run like he Reggie did last year.

Who's on the roster? I heard from somewhere that Nolan Smith is on the roster.

Hoopshype.com has Adams, Lamb, Michael Stockton (John's son), Nolan Smith, and Fuquan Edwin. Not sure how official or accurate that is, but they've got them for every team and it seems realistic.
