I'm choosing to cut him a little slack for being lost in the shuffle on a losing team though, and because I think if a lot of guys were truthful In that situation they'd be admitting the same. Also, I think it was him admitting and accepting some responsibility.
The professionalism part is interesting to me, especially coupled with that media relations article from a week or two ago. Kanter was 19 years old, still new to the country, a high draft pick with lofty expectations stuck behind good veterans and dealing with adjusting to everything involved about NBA life. I'm willing to bet that an organization that tries to look after everything for him IS a revelation, especially now that he has had time to adjust to the lifestyle.
I think he's a good kid, just a bit too open and unfiltered. And taken with everything else, Remember: Mitch is two weeks younger than him, he's still growing up.
Yeah, that's the main thing. I'm trying to find other RJ comments too as I'm trolled on the GB where he was saying stuff about OKC, but can't find em. I know he was just overly joyed to be gone, which I hate. I do think he was worse.
