I'm choosing to cut him a little slack for being lost in the shuffle on a losing team though, and because I think if a lot of guys were truthful In that situation they'd be admitting the same. Also, I think it was him admitting and accepting some responsibility.

The professionalism part is interesting to me, especially coupled with that media relations article from a week or two ago. Kanter was 19 years old, still new to the country, a high draft pick with lofty expectations stuck behind good veterans and dealing with adjusting to everything involved about NBA life. I'm willing to bet that an organization that tries to look after everything for him IS a revelation, especially now that he has had time to adjust to the lifestyle.

I think he's a good kid, just a bit too open and unfiltered. And taken with everything else, Remember: Mitch is two weeks younger than him, he's still growing up.

Yeah, that's the main thing. I'm trying to find other RJ comments too as I'm trolled on the GB where he was saying stuff about OKC, but can't find em. I know he was just overly joyed to be gone, which I hate. I do think he was worse.

It doesn't seem like the Utah players treated him with a lot of respect at the same time. Didn't someone from their team say they wanted the team to draft a C in the draft? And looking at Trevor Booker's comments from last night it's not hard to assume that.

Not sure, but welcome to the board by the way, thought I saw someone new!

Trey Burke did, which is kinda funny since they actually picked someone to replace him instead

That said, I don't think Trey Burke is really the team mouthpiece.

Yeah it shows the lack of professionalism that Kanter was alluding to though

I still don't agree that he did it, and don't like what he did to the crowd. Not my thing, I wish he would shut up and not give bulletin board material.

I don't disagree (well, I do about the crowd thing), I just think what he ACTUALLY said isn't AS bad as it's being made out to be.

No, and I wish I had more of the RJ stuff offhand because blkbrd (of course) turned the gen board into the Reggie Jackson board. Man the kid's annoying.

Honestly, I wouldn't care so much about what Jackson said if it wasn't for the story about the drop-step windmill and refusing to play. He literally quit, that's what really pisses me off.

Same, and it could cost a playoff spot.

I've been staying 'reasonable' but I think it might be time to admit we may be done.

I just want to get this season over with, this team is not winning a champ, does not need the playoff experience, just tank the rest of the way.

its just too frustrating watching this depleted team play basketball

And I think I'm done. We just suck. We don't play defense, we've stopped moving, we've stopped moving the ball. Now unless we get offensive rebounds we can't even score.

F*cking 48 points allowed through 16 minutes. It's just stupid at this point. Maybe we should stop switching every f*cking screen since we don't have any rim protection. Or maybe we should go zone since we're not actually guarding a man anyway. Or maybe we should just pack it in and not bother going on road games since we don't play there anyway.

While it's fun and quite incredible watching Russ being Russ, it's sad that he has to go to such lengths. Obviously to be expected when 3 starters are out but still it's taking alot of effort...& GSW is next up :/

Yeah, next 4 games all losses too. And NOP has an easy stretch.

I don't know, think we can beat Dallas & Memphis is on a bad run atm but having said that...nothing beats playoff basketball & the buzz it gives, especially in OKC, but you have to wonder if it's worth pushing our best and one of the league's very best to the point of complete exhaustion.
