Meh, it hasn't been that long yet.

And, I don't know if you were referring to me about Internet problems, but that was never going to be an issue for me during August. My Internet access issues won't be until September 8th, when I leave for Europe

fran just shut your mouth will ya?
been a busy day. just didnt have time to compare the 3 players that I like.

anyway I can still trade until I decide (which is probably 6 hours from now, when I will be at home) so feel free to offer trades for my 13th pick until then.

I'm up at #17. I'm really not sure who I want or who is going to be there. But, if anyone wants to move up from the 2nd round and wants to move down from like 150 to the end I'm open to a deal like that.

2nd round for Horford is absurd.
yes he lost a lot of time with injuries in 2 seasons of the last 3. but when healthy he is top 10-20 for sure. I think Aldridge is top 10-20 for sure as well but I don't believe there is anybody else who is a "sure thing"
and I had Aldridge in 1 or 2 leagues last year, I was bored with him, didn't wanna pick him. so here we are.

 Every year it seems like I end up with Aldridge on my team, and I know exactly what you mean by "bored with him". He's great, puts up solid numbers, but there's something about having him on your team that's just not exciting.

Horford isn't much different than Aldridge, in fact he probably is more boring since he scores less and he has less spectacular games in general. But still, I think he has a better chance to crack top 10 than Aldridge and it's better to draft a different guy. Change is good.

Horford, Aldridge, and a couple others who should soon be picked fall into the solid but not exciting category. Horford does have the coming back from injury question mark which makes him interesting but downgrades him slightly. In a regular size league, he's a second rounder, but I'd consider him later in the first here.

I'm not overly concerned about injuries. 1 or 2 critical injuries aren't bothering me. Since usually these are 1 time things. The players who miss 3-4 games every month (like Camby) are more important take notes on.

I like the Griffin pick. He probably should have gone a few picks ago.

meh I think it's early for him. I think there are at least 3 guys that are gonna give you more value overall. unless he starts hitting 3s or something.

Looks like Break just took the "turn-back-the-clock-annoy-JazzFan" pick.

Perhaps, but I like to draft with an eye to potential, but also a player with a high floor. The three guys that you're referring to are who we know they are, which is fine, but I figured I'd take a chance. Hell, this strategy almost paid off last year until self-destruction in the playoffs.

Well, all my guys on my short list for 34 and 37 are gone. Who would've thought Lebron and KD would go so early. ;)

Ok, got one decent offer for my pick. But, the guy I was interested in is still on the table. And one guy who I'm sorta kinda waiting to hear back from.

Long story short, I'm going to take a 'little while' to make my pick. I don't intend to hold it hostage for days or anything, but, I am exploring my options. If anyone wants to harangue me on this course of action I can easily drag it out longer.

(picked a 3 dollar word for WB, probably not using it correctly, my first time ever using harangue...)
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Oh, and I hate drafting in the first round for some reason. I'm looking to trade out and I'll look at all offers.
