Re: FFDL Draft #9 - insfo, Kohanz, bww, Alci, ham

Post#241 » by Young_Star11 » Sun Sep 6, 2009 12:47 am

Some updates:

I've slowly begun to reformat the rosters, as shown on the front page

tk I'm sure had a 15th player which 'fell off', so I will endeavor to find out for him.

Still 24 hours a pick, as we only have 20 picks to go...so it won't take more than 3 weeks at the absolute maximum.

I'm in the market for a shooting guard. Preferably a young one. My F and C depth would likely be used in such a trade. Hit me up at chancellar|@|gmail.com

BTW, wouldn't mind packaging #15 and #17 along with Kaman for something.

Whilst this draft is perceived weak, there are still guys with potential on the board.

At #13, I'll pick up Yi and drop Pietrus.

Looking to make a trade to clear up a roster spot or too and/or get a little younger. John Salmons, Manu Ginobili, Carlos Boozer, Kirk Hinrich, Rasheed Wallace, Allen Iverson and Antonio McDyess are all on the block. Danny Granger could be had if someone wants to blow me away. Basically the only guy I don't really want to trade is Amare because his value is going to shoot back up this year. 2010 first rounders would also be welcome in trades.

I'm interested in Salmons, Mano, and Hinrich. I have the current pick and the 16th...email me at squirrelzipper@yahoo.com

He could be a great player, but I am conceding my bust of a pick (#6, 2008) here. He's stuck as the 3rd PG in his NBA team with a seasoned starter and a great backup, so he won't get much opportunity for a while yet....and there's no guarantee he will pan out. Plus, he was the 6th best PG on my PG-laden roster. Something had to give.

It's a tough pick, it's a sandwich pick between myself and Brian...but I will roll the dice and add Earl Clark, dropping Jerryd Bayless.

I'll take a flyer on a guy who has a chance to start, or at least make a contribution THIS year. With my last pick of this draft, I take my 3rd rookie:

Wayne Ellington

I'm dropping Shaun Livingston.

I like the Earl Clark pick. If Kohanz did not dropt Yi, I probably would've picked up Clark. Yi looks like he'll get a lot of opportunity to start the year.
