Things are looking up for my team this year. James Harden's move to the Rockets gives me a bonafide top player now.

Hopefully, the Thunder see Lamb and not Martin as their future SG. Martin will sure see minutes but hopefully Lamb is developed as the future like he was going to be in Houston.

Big night tonight. Four of our five rookies will finally get to see some real NBA action. We have some tough matchups so it should be a good test.

I would do it 100 times out of 100 :)

Agreed... Lillard is looking like he will be a stud.

I was hesitant about dealing Lin for Bargnani, but I think it'll end up mutually benefiting both teams. I needed more scoring and another PF/C. Hopefully, Nate Rob can help replace some of Lin's production.

How often does a #1 pick in his prime get traded for an undrafted player?

It became apparent that no one was going to give me anything at all reasonable for Timmy, so I moved Bargs instead. I'll just keep Timmy til he's done, I guess.

Bismack is going to play C. Mullens is going to play PF. They compliment each other.

Mr Irrelevent is rank 58 on the season.

I believe my assessment is spot on.

? Irrelevent must mean something different than I thought?

Mr. Irrelevant is the title bestowed upon the last pick of the draft.

Ah, I completely misunderstood your original post. It looked like you were saying he was irrelevant to our league.

It's with tear in eye that I watch Sanders break out. I tried to hold him until this happened but during the playoffs last season I felt I had to drop him in order to advance. I was eyeing being able to pick him back up but needed to wait until midnight to avoid losing a game form the player I was dropping. In the couple of hours intervening, he was picked up.

Unlike that bum Fredette who I drafted the following year (when I would have had Klay if there had just been a damned summer league), I actually still believed in Sanders when I dropped him. I didn't think anyone would pick him up at that point in the season.

So... after floppy pulls himself together, how bout me getting DeMar DeRozan ON THE CHEAP!

Better than you getting John Wall on the cheap.

I hear that. Wall is like Gilbert Arenas without the scoring.

Speaking of which, who did I trade Arenas to and what did I get for him?

Maybe I could have gotten more for him, but if you're expecting a lot of growth out of DeMar, as a lifelong Raps fan, I wish you luck, but I don't see his game becoming multi-faceted.

And he will soon be supplanted by Terrence Ross.

Just tooting my own horn. Truth was I needed a keeper SF, you needed some center depth.

I do think I got the best future trade chip. Big Baby and Pekovic are both nearly 27 and I think a little riskier to suddenly drop off. DeRozan is a young 23 and he was probably my ceiling for acquiring a good SF with those guys.

Biting the bullet until a good FA center comes along will probably cost me a couple wins, but I think the longterm tradeoff was worth it.
