Ok, everyone give me some times when you think we can hold the draft.

Keepers: Durant, Holiday, Teague, Morris & Sanders
Rookie: Smart

Draft preference will be late (PST) on a weekday as weekends tend to get a bit busy. If we have to do a weekend, I'd prefer it late, say 9pm PST or later.

Ok then...

Since no one is stepping up to give their two cents on when to draft, I take it you'll all be ok with the date and time I pick?

If its offline, I don't care when we start. If its online, then after 9pm EST on a Tues or Thurs is best. Thanks.

October 26th is no good for me. I have three other drafts that day. Other than that i should be able to make it.

How about you give us some potential dates and times based on the existing suggestions from those that have responded? I doubt you'll be able to satisfy everyone's preferences since everyone is spread out across the USA and world and have differing schedules.

Ok, here are some dates that work from some, but not all of us:

Tuesday, October 21, at 8:00pm
Thursday, October 23, at 8:30pm
Saturday, October 25 at 8pm
Sunday, October 26 at 8pm

Thoughts?

I'd prefer the Tuesday at 8 option. The others, I'd have to set my list up for autodraft.

with little time to arrange a draft date I think this will be a disaster.

why didnt we do a offline (forum) draft? we only had 110-120 guys to pick, which we could have finished in like 20 days.

Are these all EST? If so, Wednesday Oct 22 works best. If it can be moved back to a time after 7pm PST then either 21st or 23rd will work. The only date that is totally not possible for me is the 26th.

out of these dates, only saturday fits for me. 8pm is around 3am in Turkey. On all the other dates, after the draft, at 7am I have to get up for work, which makes those dates impossible.

Those are most likely PST. Might seem silly but moving it back that one hour does help, thanks BWW. I can do any of the listed dates.

I never even thought about doing an offline draft. We've been trying to accommodate jfrost, who has been out of town, but I think we're going to be fine.

Actually, there's still plenty of time to do an offline draft, if we do 10 players a day. We could be done in 12 days.

We could do it by bidding on players over a 24 period. Thoughts?

Works for me (offline if we can expedite it)... My travel is over tomorrow so I am good anytime (thanks for holding off for me)

I think the date and time would still be important, bc just like ebay, the bidding will go right until the very last minute. So the cutoff time will be very critical. Extending the draft over a 48-hour period might mitigate this slightly, and help those who are overseas. I am fine as long as the cutoff time is not in the middle of the night (I'm eastern time).

But I foresee it being pretty crazy trying to keep track of everyone's bids for each player - going back multiple players to try and figure out the current bid. My vote would be for an online draft.
