So again, to reiterate, If I draft somebody is that one roster spot I don't get for the auction?

I was planning on dropping a rookie during the auction if I ended up being most frugal and having the most extra coin toward the end.

Am I allowed to do this?

I think what I said before was that you can drop your rookies at any time.
