RC / FA DRAFT RULES

RULE - The draft will be only two rounds and includes all NBA Rookies and all FFDL Free Agents (after rosters are trimmed to size). If you add a player in the RC/FA Draft, you must drop a player to make room.

RULE - The draft does NOT snake. The 2nd round draft order is determined by regular season standings. Lottery balls are only for the 1st round.

RULE - The champion, as always, will have the last pick of each round.

RULE - Those who finish 2nd to 6th will only receive 1 ball. Those who finish 7th to 9th in the REGULAR SEASON will receive 3 balls. Those who finish 10th to 12th in the REGULAR SEASON will receive 5 balls. Those who finish 13th and 14th will receive 8 lottery balls.

RULE - only picks posted on the roster page are available for trade

So I must pick my balls? I only have 1, and it is 6.

The lotto ball counts are incorrect because the standings are incorrect. You can see the evidence for the latter here:
https://basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/league/2011ffdl/2016 (click on the "Standings" tab).

The standings shown include consolation playoffs, but we agreed it was regular season standings for non-playoff squads that determined lottery balls.

Sadly it looks like yahoo does not display those (non-playoff) standings, but you can deduce them from the win-loss records listed at the link above.

So lets not pick lotto balls until we get the standings and lotto ball counts correct. (I think I am 11th and should receive 5 lotto balls.)
