Bardet looks good so far. Hopefully he can challenge Froome.

Not sure who decided about the stages this year btw. Seems like there are way too little mountain arrivals!

Agreed. The only reason it was close is that there were literally no stages whatsoever where you could lose significant time.

The bad thing about Bardet finishing so well is that the organizators will now probably stick to an easier course next few years hoping a fellow frenchman can win the tour then.

Fairly disappointing stages this year.

These seem to be the ones that might be worth watching:
Stage 9 on July 4th (mountain finish)
Stage 11 on July 7th
Stage 15 on July 11
Stage 17 on July 14 (mountain finish)
Stage 18 on July 15 (mountain finish)
Stage 20 on July 17 (time trial)

Feels like the difficulty of the TdF stages has regressed in recent years, though.

Looking at the stage profiles doesn't always reflect the actual race.

Pogacar is in a league of his own - but other than that, i don't remember a better first week of the Tour. Last 3 stages have been insane.

I dont know.
Maybe there was a little more action and crashes than usual due to the bad weather conditions but thats about it.

Pogacar looks like he is using an E-Bike compared to everyone else riding on normal bikes.
Dude is heads and shoulders above everyone else.

Feel like they could‘ve at least included Alpe D Huez as additional mountain stage
