I know that the Grizz can't expect to get much offloading Prince, but I just don't think Marvin Williams is the answer. Honestly, he's not that much of an upgrade, if at all, over Prince and James Johnson. The best move for the Grizz may well just be to play out the season with Prince and then move him next year, when his value goes up due to his deal being in its final year.

marvin expires which could be nice for the grizz . the grizz also get a PG in Mack who also expires. antic can play spot mins at 4/5 and stretch the floor( has a team option i think) . getting 3 new guys for a playoff push would be my biggest concern .i'm all for keeping prince instead of making a cap move that gets us nothing or paying a high price just to move him .

maybe a simple trade Calathes ,Tor 2nd , Bos 2nd can get the Grizzlies a PG upgrade or TPE + 2nd's if we still have cap room .

finding mins for TA,Prince,Calathes really hurt our spacing

I'd love to see Memphis draft Nik Stauskas to play the 2, hit 3's, and be the secondary pick and roll guy for your team, after Conley.

Maybe you could draft him, then trade Pondexter's great deal and Prince's expiring for a good starting SF like Afflalo (would have to throw in a later 1st or pick swap option), Wilson Chandler or someone else who can guard big 3's and hit big 3's.
Where's the D?

I am still high on Jeff Green, but if that were going to happen it would have come up when we acquired Courtney Lee and James Johnson wasn't a folk hero at the time. Boston may also want to package him with something unwanted on their roster like Humphries or Bass that we could not stomach.

Next on the wish list is, Corey Brewer from Minnesota, since he is not coming alone, a deal for him includes JJ Barea and Dante Cunningham for Prince and Ed Davis(whom Joerger thinks is no mental giant)

Lastly we have Mike Dunleavy, who is unlikely to come alone, so Kirk Hinrich and maybe even Taj Gibson who is surprisingly available for Prince, Ed Davis, and Tony Allen goes home. This deal makes a lot of sense for both sides.

I was thinking along these lines as well, at least the Brewer part anyways... or would you rather have a shooter like Chase Budinger?

Wizards-Grizz:

Wiz trade: Trevor Ariza
Memphis trades: Ed Davis + Kosta Koufos.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

That call isn't even taken. If Kosta or Ed are moved, it will most likely be to facilitate moving Prince and/or help at the pg position. No chance that both are moved.

How about Ariza for Prince + Mem 1st rounder top 10 protected?

The Grizz get rid of Prince's crappy salary and get a major upgrade and the Wiz gain a first rounder.
