The Forum should be electric tonight!

First hand look at the future Grizz power forward in Greg Monroe. (I hope)

A look at wether Gigi Datome was a loss or did we dodge a bullet in his choosing Detroit over Memphis.

Finally a good game from Zbo or another stinker and the whispers will only get louder.

This is going to be a great game IMO. Detroit are building their roster around their bigs like memphis, so it'll be a good test for our young guys. I have you guys taking it, but it should be close.
lets hope it lives up to the potential.

Hi Guys, Here we are, new season again! I could not come to the board the first game.

Don't you feel that we don't have enough players? we need to improve that bench. Koufos and Miller are good additions. I like what I have seen so far.

btw, It is great to see Mike Miller back with the Grizzs jersey. Wish Jason Williams and Posey could still play. Those were great seasons...

Def the 2nd unit is doing great today. Are the pistons considered a Playoff team, do you think they would make it?

The tomahawk looks just ok in Conley. Still unsure if I approve that haircut. What PG used to have that? Was it Westbroken? I dont like Westbroken....

We forced our way to the OT. Nice effort by Gasol 2.0

Watched most of the game and REALLY like our 2nd unit especially Koufas/Q.

Do you guys think Conley is pressing too hard already, seems like at times esp. in 1st half he was trying to do too much.

Ended up missing the game due to work. I saw it took OT to beat the Pistons only by three. Either the Pistons aren't the same Pistons we're used to playing or there is a wrench somewhere in the Grizzlies defensive schemes. Also what's the story with the high TOs'(21). Same issue from the same two games of the preseason. And it rear it's ugly head in tonight's game.

I can tell the pistons looked way better than the previous season. I will keep an eye on them, I think they might make the Playoffs.

Outside of some potential tweaks here and there. They are a potential dark horse for playoff contenders alongside the Cavaliers for sure. There have been talks that the Pistons may move Greg Monroe and Rodney Stuckey. Monroe is definitely of good value who can be a stretch 4 on offense and plays solid defense. Stuckey is bench material, but should've been gone from the Pistons long ago since he really didn't fit from the jump.

Great game, although there was a palpable sense of panic in the Forum when we went down 7 with roughly two minutes to go (people actually started leaving en masse). The Pistons are much improved, and with Jennings back soon, they should make the playoffs IMO.

We were really sloppy with the ball to start the game. IIRC we had 8 or 9 turnovers in the first quarter. Between the two games so far, I am impressed with our bench. As a whole, we seem to have a competent bench for the first time in a long time.

Overall, a much better effort from the Grizz.
