I had to up my game going into the allstar break here to make up for that scary woman I put on the ATL hawks thread last weekend...

I can't believe I got O'Quinn and E'Tawn Moore's names right for their images to show up on the first try! those names usually take a few iterations to get right!

I had to dig deep for the team trivia this time but was able to get the Detroit connection and the Vols/Michigan match.. wow that was a hunt. I also found a very interesting trivia related to Orlando itself - Glen Davis and LSU's miracle run was stopped in the final four by UCLA led by Arron Afflalo & loaded squad of NBA players: Ryan Hollins, Cedric Bozeman, Darren Collison, Luc MBah Muteh, Jordan Farmar. Now it gets stranger to discover that the "nobody" on The Wizards that we played last night - Garrett Temple - was on Big Baby's LSU team in that game.. I had no idea who Garrett Temple was til now... UCLA shut down Big Baby finally and Tyrus Thomas was useless as well - foreshadowing to his extremely mediocre and disappointing NBA career I'm sure!

You always stepped up regardless of what happens.

Three more trivia notes:

Mike Miller was drafted by the Magic in 2000 and played for them until the trade to Memphis in 2002.

Courtney Lee was drafted by the Magic in 2009 and only played one year with them until he was traded to the then New Jersey Nets.

Those crucial calls in the last 3 mins of the game decided the game for the Grizzlies as the calls went their way. The Magic fought well and made the game interesting for the Grizz.

Marc Gasol ended up leaving the game due to re-aggravating his knee. I hope it's nothing serious.

oh yeah ! good call on Lee who got all that playoff and NBA Finals experience as a rookie in Orlando! We robbed Orlando.... Drew Gooden for Mike Miller!

ZBO + Prince are looking young and healthy. ZBO quietly showing he's still an Allstar regardless who is gonig to New Orleans tomorrow!

Picking Drew Gooden was a dub decision by the Grizzlies back in 2002. How the hell they thought converting a PF/C into a SF was going to work, I don't know. I wished the earlier regime picked Caron Butler instead. He played on both ends of the floor and had the aggression to back it up at the time.
