OKC within four. Need to maintain some distance and stop the bleeding.

Although the lead is tied, I'm kinda impress that the Grizz only have 3 TOs' so far in comparison to the Thunder's 9 TOs'. They have been sloppy with the ball so far in the first half. The Grizz need to exploit that weakness and continue to get more offense from everyone else rather than just ride Marc Gasol.

So far KD and Westbrook combined for 31pts so far for the Thunder and been their offensive output during the last few minutes of the game. Gotta stop that leak come the second half.

My take on this half.

I feel from this point. We have them where we want them. KD and Westbrook have been the Thunder offense so far. While on the other end the Grizz nearly have 4 players in double figures. This game is tight as hell. Kinda like Rocky Balboa vs. Apollo Creed. Lennox Lewis vs. Mike Tyson, Muhammed Ali vs. Sonny Liston.

If the Grizz allow the KD to be the Thunder's offense, he will tire out and then the Grizzlies have to strike back like something fierce out of the Bear's ferocious den.

Gasol has come back to earth, Grizz need to go back to him on the block for a couple of possessions and force Ibaka to play him already under the rim... I hope they don't of course.

That's been the jist of the thread to this point.

Really sux the second half has started out this way. Especially with the way the first half started out.

We took your shot now you're taking ours, it'll tighten up.

Backs well and truly against the wall now. It's worth noting that we came back from 14 points down in the 4th quarter to force OT in Game 5.... but I think that it will be just too much to ask tonight.

It all depends on Thunder ball movement, too often we fall into the trap of dribbling for 20 seconds then throwing up a shot or a jump pass. Against LAC we gave up a 12-0 run in 1:36 of game time.

Hey all, just wanted to drop in to say great series. You have a heckuva team, and I was disappointed Randolph was out game 7. Never was comfortable against you, great series, best of luck in the offseason and next year.

Yep, Horrible to end the series. Season over.

There was a point in time where Beno hit a three and we were 5 points down but from there, everything just collapsed. Gasol is a great player but we can not ride him the whole game. We needed a breakout game from other than Gasol, you know, like Beno in G2 or Miller in G5. To be honest, the fact that we led by 10 in the 2Q is unbelievable.

The key of the series is that G4 that we lost. They were dead and then again, we let the live. :banghead:

Striking thing was how easily we were able to score without Randolph: 58 points and 51 points in each half. Defense left something to be desired though.

I am with you. At that point you KNEW that Durant was going to get hot again at some point. It's the law of averages. He can't be "MR UNRELIABLE" for long. He could be drunk or stoned and still manage to score eventually. That' s just who he is.

FOR us to have won this series we needed to bury them quickly while they were cold and frustrated. (AND before they got smart and started Caron Butler). I heard that Scott Brooks had not mixed up the starting rotation since 2009 unless due to injury. That's how key they felt it was to go wtih a washed up Caron Butler over Thabo against us. Washed up or not - he had an open line to long distance with us.

And it played out just like that. durant got hot and we got blown out of the water in games 6 & 7.

It sucks that the season has come to an end like this. At this point, I can say that they the lucky ones getting in playoffs b/c of the season they had with the injuries that plagued them from December to February. A tough road the Grizzlies travel this season and it comes to an end. I'm looking forward to what happens this summer with the improvements they make and how will it transpire next season.

Congrats to the Thunder. Good luck in the next round.
