A correction : Jrue Holiday is no longer a Pelican. Their starting backcourt is currently Eric Grodon + Tyreke Evans

A well needed win tonight to keep their chances for home court advantage on their side. They have to get more wins like this the rest of the way.

now that's how you do it!!
despite the win Friday I thought the Grizz shooting was in the dumps, and then the Wizards ran us off our own home court. So glad to see us back to Grit N Grind and also knocking down shots! Nice to see Conley on his game again. Now if we can get Gasol 100%.. we're back in the mix

This is the way the Grizz needs to play. 27 assists / 47% from the 3pt line and taking care of the boards.

Too many times this team has a habit of holding the ball over their head looking for the direct assist when they should have a hockey assist mentality (aka the Spurs assist) where everyone is touching the ball and it's moving side to side and they are actually looking for the perimeter options too instead of solely looking into the paint or making 2-3 ft passes to each other in the paint.

In Today's NBA you likely won't win the Championship if you can't score efficiently & often from the 3pt line unless you can draw a ridiculously high foul rate which doesn't happen as much in the playoffs where the guys are allowed to play more physically. If the Grizz can use their highpost/lowpost power & ball movement to breakdown teams defenses to open up 3pt looks for the likes of Lee / Carter / Conley / Green (and Adams haha like he'll play in the Playoffs...sadface) then the Grizzlies anemic and predictable offense suddenly can be far more effective - perhaps it's too late in the season / perhaps the grizz identity is to ingrained to change now - but I don't see them winning without attempting / making more 3pts per game in the Playoffs. More balance on offense = much harder for good defenses to stop the Grizz offense and have those times they sputter on offense (although some of that has to also do with Coach's sometimes puzzling lineups).

It would help out to put more balance on the offensive end, if the perimeter shooters would be more aggressive in taking the shots to keep the defense on their heels.
