Meyers Leonard is ripping us apart from three. I thought Blake clearly stepped on the endline on the last play though.

The Blazers have won the first two quarters via second chance rebounding points and moving the ball around and finding their guys who are knocking down shots. The Grizzlies need to get back on the attack. Move the ball around attack the boards and keep a hand in the shooters faces. Take the Blazers fans out of the game and get back to doing what you do best.

Looks like the Grizz have regain that sense of urgency after playing through what I considered the worst first half of the series so far. They are attacking the glass much better and moving the ball much better. And maybe I'm seeing things, but Nick Calathes is having a good game or what? Shooting four 3 pointers.

The Grizzlies lose the lead with the Blazers on a 12-0 run.

Can any Memphis fan shed some light in this for me please. Why do you not play Vince Carter more? I have watched a lot of Grizzle bball in the regular season and he played really well for 15-20 mins a game. Why has he been getting so little run this series?

He is not playing that much because basically we need to win, it is playoffs time.

When you say he has been playing well during the season, I am not exactly sure how "well" you mean. Better than Allen, Lee or Green? Not at all, VC have had good games but so did Leuer at some point. So if you consider there are three better wings than him that needs plenty minutes in the court and that Joerger likes to play with 2 PG at the same time (actually, I like the 2PG combo a lot)... the minutes he gets are just to give some rest to one of the other three wings. 10 minutes should be more than enough.

I am not saying he is the worst ever, he adds energy, PO experience and still can knock down some nice shots. I also like that during timeouts he is always talking (mostly) to Gasol about the game and thats nice and I guess its useful too.

All in all, he is not hurting our game but I dont think he deserves more than he gets at the moment.

^ Spot on analysis.... when you lose your step a bit athletically (although Carter has always reverted to jump shooting) you have to hit better than around 29.7% from three. That's outright horrible, especially given the fact that the Grizz's interior players (even though he plays with the bench bigs a lot) open up the game for shooters.
